Robert De Niro’s six oldest children have still not met the newest addition to the family more than two months after she was born.

“Not yet, but they will,” De Niro told PEOPLE Saturday at the “A Bronx Tale” screening at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The 79-year-old legendary actor said that his kids — ranging in age from 51 to 11 — will meet infant Gia Virginia for the first time on Father’s Day.

“Just going to spend it with the kids and all that,” the “Goodfellas” star said.

De Niro and girlfriend Tiffany Chen, 45, welcomed little Gia April 6, but kept the birth a secret for over a month until the actor corrected a reporter who called him a father of six, stating that he “just had a baby.”

Chen did not attend the Saturday red carpet after hiding behind sunglasses and appearing exhausted at the film festival nine days earlier.

The couple maintained somber expressions as they walked through the first night of the Tribeca Film Festival, which De Niro helped co-found in 2002, though they did show slight PDA by loosely holding hands.

The baby girl is the first child for the couple, who “planned” her birth despite De Niro’s age.

The actor told TODAY earlier this month that his age wouldn’t be a detriment in raising his daughter and would inside equip him with insights he didn’t have while raising his other six.

“It feels great, yeah,” he said at the time.

“I have certain awareness — when you’re older you have awareness of certain things in life, dynamics, everything, family dynamics.”

The “Taxi Driver” lead’s brood also includes Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46 from his first marriage to Diahnne Abbott, twin sons Julian and Aaron, 27, with model and actress Toukie Smith and son Elliot, 24, and daughter Helen, 11, with second-wife Grace Hightower.
